Retro? You want retro? Remember these guys?

This is my own collection, had these since they were new, the Mattel stuff all still works great. Got the boxes and instructions too for what that's worth. These are the old originals, not the more recent remakes. Man I logged a LOT of hours on these dudes!

The Merlin actually belongs to the wife. The instructions are long gone so we're not sure how it's supposed to work and not sure if it works correctly or not.

Nice.

Last week, my wife and I went to a store in Austin, TX called Game Over Video Games. The game prices sucked, but they had a nice game 'museum'. In this museum was that exact same baseball game, unopened and mint.

I had the green shelled football one shown there. Nothing but little red lights on a burgundy matt. So awesome. I dominated that thing.

Not sure if this'll help you with the Merlin, Scooter, but I figured it was worth a shot.

I love the merlin

hrmmm, it'd be cool to find out the logic they used in it and make an emulated version of it.

Those are neat! My uncle has a remade version of the football one. Do you have those handheld mini LED screen arcades from the 80's?

Cool! I remember playing the Mattel Football when I was a kid. One of my uncles who was a teenager had it.

Cool! I'll have to dig up some batteries and test it out again. It takes a LOT of batteries (6 AAs).
