Backing up PS2 saves
Backing up PS2 saves
Is there a easy way to backup PS2 saves to my PC? Like a adaptor that can be made or bought thanks in advance.

Exploit your system with FreeMCBoot, and its just a matter of copying them to a USB drive, or sending via FTP.corn619 wrote:Is there a easy way to backup PS2 saves to my PC? Like a adaptor that can be made or bought thanks in advance.

read post 4. the ps3 adapter doesn't work on PC at least as of yet. thats a really old thread, but i haven't found a PC driver yet. looking at your sig you've got a ps3 though so the adapter would let you back them up on that.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

This one works great! Saves are in .zip format for easy modifying, and with the right files it can be made to boot freeware/homebrew/etc off any disc or harddrive without installing a modchip (tho the PS2 laser prefers DVD-R over DVD+R.)

Just bought my second for my brother's slim PS2.
