If that is true, I hope they think to actually put him into some psychiatric help when in jail and probably some more after leaving. With out help the kid could just get worse and do more disturbing crimes in the future. Sorry, but prison itself doesn't teach a schizophrenic their lesson... because they don't live in a rational world to understand the consequences they've been dealt.
