Am I the only one who cannot update Little Big Planet

no matter what i do, what internet connection I use anywhere I can not update Little Big Planet. And for that matter, my connection to PSN is very random and will sometimes disconnect if im not playing online or in HOME. Anybody else have this problem?

Is it just LBP or every game that use a online connection. If its every game sounds like a problem with the network settings or PS3 hardware itself.

it seems to only happen w/ LBP BUT, i frequently loose my connection to PSN unless im playing online (like on Warhawk for example)
