Failure Rate of Japanese Xbox 360
I just recently purchased a Japanese 360 to cater to my Shmup needs. It is a recent model that has a better disc drive and all that jazz. What I am most concerned about is the failure rate of this item. Does anyone know? I don't want a collection of great Shmups knowing that my console is a brick.
I don't play games, I experience them.
Re: Failure Rate of Japanese Xbox 360
I would imagine its has he same failure rate as any other recently made 360. Unless it has the Jasper chip in it which runs much cooler than the old chipset its still a possible victim of RROD. They just started to sell the Jasper chipset 360s a couple weeks ago. Also I wonder if M$ USA will fix a Jap 360 and if it carries the same or better warranty as USA
