Ok, apart from not being able to get very high scores... I can't get my PS3 to recognize ANY high scores
After finishing a game of this rather mediocre shooter (god knows how many lives this game keeps giving you... it's like running the marathon, getting through a single credit in this game...), not only is my score not registered on the online ranking for whatever difficulty I'm playing, but my score isn't even registered locally on the 'my scores' table. Incidentally, every time I start a game it says 'no save data found, start a new save' or somesuch...
I also regularly get the Tekken 5 'Network Error' message... Any ideas how I can clear this up - it's very disheartening not to be able to track high scores

I have the same issue, but i dont have the tekken 5 "network error" you are referring to. Nor do i own tekken 5.
It's just so much effort - even playing badly a game takes like 20 mins - If i'm playing rubbinsh (which I normally am) I like a game to hand my ass back to me - take MARS MATRIX, if you're not up to speed there's every chance you'll be dead, or at least have lost your chain, in the first 20 seconds of the game. So with JS1942, it takes so long just to play through one game, that there's no incentive to go back and improve your performance, especially when you can't keep track of your performance through any kind of leaderboard... Oh yeah, and the end of the first stage, (this bit is in the demo as well, i think) your ship gets damaged and you have to escape from some monowing nazi ship like in that indiana Jones film - so the screen is scrolling downwards - that's not a problem, at least it's not scrolling horizontally! - but like I said, your ship is damaged, so, you have no weapons! Now, excuse me for being mentally retarded, but WHAT'S THE FUCKING POINT IN A SHOOTER WHEN YOU CAN'T FUCKING SHOOT!!! Seriously, this section lasts for about two minutes of avoiding stuff, or until you get hit. It's shit like this that pisses me off about this game - thanks for asking:)
