PCE, 2600, or XBHDD?
I'm trying to decide between an Atari 2600, PC-Engine, or a custom HDD for my Xbox for my next gaming purchase. What's your opinion?

There is quite a big difference between those systems as far as graphics and gameplay go. It depends what you like mostly. If you're big on shooters you might want the PCE.

I like RPGs, [Action] Adventure games, and SHMUPs. In that order.
As for graphics, I don't care as long as the gameplay is good. Altough a good graphical demonstration now and then always impresses me. I'm thinking about the 2600 because I can get games for it for about $1. I'm considering the PCE because it would be my first true import system, and I'm interested in some of its arcade ports and CD games. I'm considering a new Xbox HDD because I love emulation and homebrew, and the original 8 GB drive is too small.

Hmm, well I'd still recommend you getting the PCE, but I think the better RPG's are on the TurboCD.lisalover1 wrote:I like RPGs, [Action] Adventure games, and SHMUPs. In that order.

my vote goes for PC Engine -- I'd love to have one
