Look what I found.

Just found it on my doorstep weird huh? J/K but yeah I bit the bullet and got a J-360 and Raiden IV, so far from limited play it's Moss If you liked Raiden III you'll like it I'm not instantly in love with it, but it feels solid I like the bullet scratching, and the game looks nice, even on my super ghetto tate Commodore. Looks lovely on the HD. I got it for $203 shipped brand new from amazon of all places. Well 2009 is gonna be a hell of year for shmups on the 360, bring it on.

Glad you posted your setup. Too bad I ordered my NTSC/J 360 and only bought Raiden IV once I got it in.

I'm a big fan of Raiden III, and even though IV is sure to come to the United States, it remains a good shooter to have sooner rather than later.

So, I have to ask, do you have an NTSC/U 360? If so, do you plan on keeping it? I was thinking of selling mine, then I remembered all of the original Xbox games that wouldn't work on the Japanese console. Otherwise, Dead or Alive 4 is the only game I play that wouldn't work on it.

I do infact have a US system as well, and I have given thought to selling but a there a few things that are holding me back, mostly I have a decent chunk of change invested in DLC and XBL titles, that are basically forfit, and like you said the backwards compatibility issues as I no longer own a original xbox. BTW this isn't my real setup, this is at my parents home where I had it shipped, my set up is a sharp aquos 32 incher, but I wasn't about to tear the rents tv out of the entertainment center so I found the old commodore monitor in the basement.

I'm not much of a Raiden fan. But pretty soon I'll be jealous of all the shmups you'll have access to.

$203? Can you provide details? When I find the 360 arcade system, it's listed at 25800 yen

Thanks in advance.

Pardon my ignorance, but the description says it requires a voltage convertor to use in the US. Really? I've never had to worry about that with other Japanese consoles.

I'm also assuming yours did NOT come with an HDMI out??

Thanks.

It's a launch NTSC/J 360, so no HDMI. Also, no converter is needed to play a Japanese console in the United States.
