I'd like a very dark room, maybe black walls like an old arcade. Definitely a nice stereo to hear some good music, and another stereo to use for dreamcast. I'd want a couple of the biggest flat-panel monitors put back-to-back for two dreamcasts and the link cable. A couple sets of twin sticks for virtual on, and a couple steering wheels for f355. OH, and one of these:

I'd also want a big black leather couch and a plasma screen.

ooh -- the dual Dreamcast thing sounds nice.
I gotta research that more!
THanks for the idea!

I can't wait for LCDs to be cheap so I can have a wall of them -- each with a different console hooked up to them.
Is that to much to ask for?

If I can have one of these:

Rigged up so I can use the 40 inchers for different purposes when I am not playing Darius or watching a radioscope movie.
Quick question though - how are you linking said dreamcast together? I mean do/would you have network adaptors, or is there another way? I ask because I am trying to figure out how to link up several through the modem, but if there is a better way I am all for it.

Wow - that looks incredible -- I'm gonna have to do a post on that one sometime.
Do you have more information/pictures on it?
As for the Dreamcast, there was a special Link Cable, but only certain games supported it.
Again, I should do a post on that as well.

Not much but here goes:
It is actually three Megalo 50 cabs combined to make the one and only Megalo50^3 cab. Technically it is not a Darius cab because the Megalo’s are Sega, not Taito in origin – but it is a show stopper, and yes MAME32 can replicate it (in either 2 or 3 screen mode.)
The place I found the image is on shumps.org
http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... darius+cab
Standard Darius cab (klov):

A single Megalo 50:

The odd part is that in some of the multiscreen versions, the game runs off multiple pcbs. I mean pushing those kinds of graphics is tough, but it means make your own is going to be a pain.
edit:
like I said, you can do it in mame:
and yes the image quality is awful, I was kinda in a hurry trying to get to a job.
