Used Steel Battalion worth $99.00?

I found a Steel Battalion controller and game complete with box and seems to be in mint condition. But is it worth $99.00? Does anybody own or tried this game? It seems pretty immersive and realistic as far as 100ft walking robots are concerned. I want to pick it up but don't want to throw $99.00 out the window. I would have to buy a used Xbox as well for $50.00. Is it worth it?

Considering the game isn't that common and the controller is massive, $100 is not a bad deal if you like Mech sims.
You won't beat that online once shipping is a factor.

And $50 seems good for an XBox as well.

It goes for about £100+ very often in this country.

Just picked up the game and controller and its new and never been opened! Also since the store manager has been trying to get rid of it for so long, plus I'm one of his best customers he gave me a $30.00 discount on it! So I walked out of there with a new Steel Battalion controller, game, line of contact online expansion pack and a used mint Xbox with component cables for less than $130.00. I'm debating if I should leave it sealed for collecting purposes but I really want to try it out. I'm really bad at leaving things sealed so why make myself suffer?

$50 is pretty high now. I tried to pitch mine and all I was offered was $15. Gamestop wasn't offering more than $20. Try to get one somewhere that isn't a game store...

The game by itself goes for $50 at some places. I've had the controller forever but can't test it/sell it because I don't have the game. XD (I got it in a huge lot off someone on CL, basically the controller was free.)

I paid for mine (game + controller in good condition without the box) about $65 including shipping.
