Is Beggar Prince worth $46?
I read the review here, but does anyone else own it? If so is it worth it?

I own it, but I have to say I have yet to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in. I should do really as I just pre-ordered their new offering.

I bought it when it first came out, but I've never actually played it haha.

You couldn't save the game if you had a 32x or a Sega CD attached and frankly, it's too much of a hassle for me to detach everything just to play the game. I have like 8 consoles connected to my TV and I only have an RF cable for the model 1 Genesis so that's even more of a pain in the ass.

I always wanted to pick up the new version so I could actually play the game, but I didn't have any money at the time. Frankly, I think it's unfair for us people who originally bought the game to buy it again.

agreed. Why would you release a game that doesn't work for over 50% of genesis users becase they use a sega cd, 32x, wondermega/x'eye, or other reason. Don't most retro sega fans try to find all the accessories or rare systems...
