Idea for a new section
I was wondering how many people would be in favor of a DOS and old mac section here in racketboy. Sure both of these could fit in the Microsoft and Other Platforms category, but I feel they are both large enough to warrant their own section. Plus this could be a much more centralized hub for pc technical help and less common systems such as OS/2 opperated IBM's and the Commodore 64. Again just an idea.
Older. Not wiser.

Enough sections...and some of them barely get traffic the way it is.

Why DOS and Mac and not Win9x or is Windows 95/98 still too fresh? 
Would anyone else rather have handheld, console and PC sections than dividing them based on brands?

How about just a PC gaming [old and new] section?
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

how about discuss it in the "Other Platforms" section, it doesn't get a whole lot of love as is. If PC gaming become a super big topic in the "other platforms" section I bet Racketboy will take notice and consider a PC gaming forum to compensate for the business flooding the "other platforms" section.
Instead of a poll that shows a possible demand for something with no content, instead show the content that deserves a section which is an obvious sign of demand. As far as I've seen there hasn't been many PC threads here as of yet.
It'd make sense, considering that the "Whatever" section gets flooded daily with threads. Half of which could easily fit in another section. But no one puts them there... actually us mods should be doing something about it. This actually just convinced me of that, everyone be warned and ready, if you thread disapears from the "Whatever" section you may find it in another forum!
You know all those "annoying" threads about "this girl I like" and "drugs are bad"... that is what the whatever section is for. That is why I don't remove them and I let all the spunk fly... shit I throw some as well... a whole lot of it. That's what this section is for.
