I was wondering if anyone else ever played this game for the Dreamcast or PC? I enjoyed Quantic Dream's Indigo Prophecy a couple years ago and figured I might as well give this game a try.
Not sure which version is better though? I read that the Dreamcast version was released in 2000, while the PC was in 1999. I wonder if anyone was added into the Dreamcast version?

I figured the PC version probably has compatibility issues, like most PC games of that era do with modern hardware, so I bought the DC one.

I would go for the pc version but only if there are no problems running it. I might have to dig up my copy to check that.

I was mainly thinking of compadibility issues as well. Given that I am migrating to Vista eventually with a new system I might go with the Dreamcast version when I have the time just to save any trouble.

You can always use a virtual machine.ImportBoy wrote:I was mainly thinking of compadibility issues as well. Given that I am migrating to Vista eventually with a new system I might go with the Dreamcast version when I have the time just to save any trouble.

It's hard to read the text on the DC version on a normal TV (VGA box will fix that, though). I have had bad luck getting my PC copy to run on my XP, haven't tried to much by the way of virtual PC and 98. I love the game, can't wait for Heavy Rain.

I want to play this game as well, but I read that Nvidia's drivers borked the game, so I have to revert to pre-100 Forceware series in order to play it.

A tedious boring exploring type game.Majors wrote:It's hard to read the text on the DC version on a normal TV (VGA box will fix that, though). I have had bad luck getting my PC copy to run on my XP, haven't tried to much by the way of virtual PC and 98. I love the game, can't wait for Heavy Rain.
I'll take Phantasy Star or Tomb Raider over this.
Does have David Bowie unrecognizable music in it.
Dreamcast version does give you a more bug free and runs on HD.
Here's a screenshot with the hard to read text.

I would like to know your opinion on this game, I might play it soon, but I am confused as some people would say its a very good game but others say its boring and all about exploring(I hate just exploring games) .
Any one can tell me what other franchise this game is similar to?
