Thanks!

Huge Ridge Racer fan here. I have the original, which I played the hell out of, and RR Revolution, which I also dug into pretty deep. No doubt that it defined the PS, especially right out of the box on launch day.

I love Tony Hawk games but IDK if I could write 2-3 paragraphs on it. I would however do some video reviews on them!
Older. Not wiser.

I've got Tony Hawk covered. I have 1, 2, and 4 on the Playstation, and I've dumped about 100 hours into 1 and 4, and around 250 into 2.

Re: Any Tony Hawk, Ridge Racer, or Einhander Enthusiasts?
First 2 THPS games were sweet. Then the 3rd one on PS2 was awesome. Underground made sufficient advances on the concept to make it want playing again. Then the series went down the pan until Project 8 tried to revive it but too little customization options and too many uninspired levels ruined it for me.
Skate is the place to be for skateboarding games now. That game wipes the floor with Tony Hawk's.
Unfortunately I only really got into RR when Type 4 came out. I never understood the driving mechanic and the time limit thing. I hated the fact that you could still lose a race even if you weren't in last place. Surely i'm not the only one who didn't get that? I always thought. Hang on, why do the people behind me whiz past me when i've run out of time... It wasn't until they got rid of that stupid limitation that I got into the series.

If you're in first in RR, you should be OK on time. The opponents are kind of like like one of those toy figure-8 tracks with mechanical cars on it -- they in the same place no matter what.

I guess I just suck at the older Ridge Racers! Haha!

Seems like Einhander isn't getting much love here - I'm a big fan of this game having played it on my PSP, but I can't write anything about it with any authority as I am yet to complete it (can't bring myself to credit feed such an awesome game)
