Re: Google Chrome
So far I am liking it... it is blazing fast compared to firefox and especially fast compared to ie.
The only problem that I have is that the spell check function does not work everywhere. It does not check my spelling when I am working in my wordpress based site. Spellcheck is important to me.

Re: Google Chrome
Seems a little too similar to Firefox to really warrant its existence. It seems about the same speed as well, but I guess I do have a fairly clean and fast machine.
Re: Google Chrome
The multi-threaded approach sounds interesting.
I might try it later, but I might wait a bit longer as I depend on a number of Firefox extensions.

I like that they are taking a multi-threaded approach, it's about time more programs are taking advantage of multi-threading.
I haven't tried it yet because I'm on mac.

I'm typing this response on Chrome now. Looks really nice, has a large viewing area and a blue top that actually matches the Racketboy theme. Oh and there is an inbuilt spelling corrector which is missing from IE7, just told me I spelt Racketboy wrong! The site seems to work perfectly with it, which is my test as to whether I'll use a browser or not.

@andymol - I agree it does match the Racketboy theme very well. The new theme is growing on me as well.

Yeah it spell checks on this and some other sites, but not all sites.andymol21 wrote:I'm typing this response on Chrome now. My site, which is wordpress, the spell check does not work. On my phpbb3 sites, twitter, and gmail the spell check works fine.

Re: Google Chrome
I use FF all the time, so my comparisons are with that:
loading images in pages are much faster, FF always had issues with that. Haven't had the /b issues common on FF as well.
loading just an image itself though for some reason is slow as dog meat
different websites load fast or slow. This one for instance loads up really quick, but Actionscript.org is slow to load up. More obscure websites like tv-links and pirate-bay are loading horribly slow in comparison to FF
the browser itself opens really fast
The tabs and buttons aren't as responsive. I sometimes have to click a different tab 2 or 3 times for it to switch.
I'm hitting the plus sign next to the close button of a tab as well.
to note it renders my busted as XSLT website rather well in comparison to gimp ass IE. I think my IE issue has to do with the style sheet. It's rather annoying that the majority of browsers follow one standard of a Cascading Style Sheet, while IE likes to play the game a little different. What the gay?
