Do You Own A Current-Gen Home Console?

Post by racketboy »

I wanted to run this poll just for curiosity's sake...

And don't include portables -- just a Wii, Xbox 360, or a PS3.

I have a Wii now, so I must vote yes...
I think this is the earliest in a machine's lifespan that I have own a console.
Gamecube and Genesis were close...

I've got all 3. Unfortunately the Wii gets the least amount of attention. I haven't booted it in about a month.

There all still too expensive and I've got too many classics to collect right now. Plus not enough good titles to warrant a purchase yet.

that's why I never bought one -- I just happened to the Wii as a gift.
I play it every other day or so.
I like doing a little Wii Sports here and there and then hop on Mario Kart.
I'm gonna pick up some other unique titles once I get some extra cash.
I wouldn't say it's worth the $300 you'll spend on the machine and controllers, but it's got some good stuff.

If I had a mega-sized TV, I'd consider a PS3 for the Blu-Ray player and the ability to play some other newer games. (Although upscalling DVDs is fine as well)
The 360 only appeals to me for XBLA.

I picked up a 360 for a few games I wanted on it. While most of these are now on other consoles, I still enjoy playing them on the 360. Plus it serves as a back up DVD player for my PS2.

My 360 is basically used for live downloads (movies, shmups, etc) or ffxi (final fantasy xi online). OCASIONALLY i'll throw soulcalibur 4. i'm just as likely to boot any fighter on any platform though hence why its so occasional.

my 360 gets this much love only and only cuz i don't have a tv in my room, just my monitor, thus 360 and dreamcast are the only systems i use daily.

When i get outa bed i'll play ps2 or saturn or whatever. (got 2 ps2s and 2 saturns (one import) i should get up more often)

I have a Wii and a 360.

The 360 barely gets any love.

However the Wii is almost always on thanx to smash bros. Which reminds me a team tournament is coming up I think I shud go practice.
