What auction websites do you guys use to buy games or other things?
Right now I'm mostly sticking to eBay, though after andymol pointed me to a copy of Rakuga Kids on eBay.co.uk, I've started looking there for PAL games. I know some folks use the Japanese Yahoo Auctions site, but I've never tried. Is there a way to get Auction.yahoo.co.jp in English, since I can't read Japanese and my computer doesn't have the character pack installed?
Auction sites
I'm the opposite of you, I use ebay.co.uk normally then .com for NTSC, obviously. I sometimes use Gumtree, which is a sortof Craigslist for the UK, so not really auction. Oh and Cash Converters has anauction site that sometimes has some older games, but pretty rarely...

All about eBay, but I'll also check Amazon for used games. Sometime you can find some good deals on complete games -- you just have to get lucky or dig around.

I use Rinkya which is a 3rd party website that allows you to order stuff from Yahoo Japan Auctions. You can search for stuff in english and it will search yahoo japan for you. It displays some stuff in english for you but for the most part the descriptions of the items are still in Japanese, which is where google translator comes in handy. At least to get some sort of an idea of what it is theyre selling and the condition. You have to sign up for Rinkya, and you WILL pay a crap load in extra fees for big and expensive items. You have to pay for shipping from the seller to their warehouse, then again from their warehouse to you, as well as pay a service fee so they can make some money as well. But depending on what youre buying it can be worth it sometimes. Ive been using them for about 2 years and bought quite a few things from them (over 30 auctions for sure) and they have never screwed me over once. They also package VERY well. The only problem I had with them is one time I won an auction but for some reason Rinkya said I didn't win (even though I was shown as the winning bidder on Yahoo Japan Auctions), BUT then about a month later they emailed me saying that I actually had won the auction and they made a mistake, so they gave me the option of buying it for the auction price but they will pay for all the shipping fees, and I won't have to pay their service fee either, which was awesome.
