Game Boy 2
Game Boy 2
Hey guys, I came across a discussion about the Super Game Boy 2 while looking up info on a couple of Game Boy Color games. Wikipedia's got next to nothing about it, but I read somewhere else that it worked like a Super Game Boy, except for the Nintendo 64. Does anybody have one and can they verify this? Also, is there an American version, or were they all just Japanese versions?

It also had a link cable socket, meaning you could hook another Gameboy up to it to play multiplayer. Or, you could attach another Snes with a Super Gameboy 2 cart and have the most expensive Pokemon battle this side of Pokemon Stadium!

Incorrect sir, it was available in the US but only through mail order, never through retail. It could play the black Gameboy Color games like for example WarioLand 2. I'm not quite sure about the clear Gameboy Color games like Zelda OaS or OoA but I think it can.Flak Beard wrote:It was actually for the Super Famicom, and I believe it played GBC games in addition to standard GB games. It also never saw a release outside Japan as far as I know.
Funny your bring up the Super Gameboy because I just picked up the first version for the SFC HERE. I also plan to win this come tomorrow HERE.
