Are the Bonk TG16 games any good?
If so which one should I start with?

I haven't played any actual TG16 ones, but the first one had an Amiga port and it was a rather decent platformer. It's nothing outstanding like Mario or Sonic, but it is a quality game nonetheless. If you are wondering if it's worth buying, try it on an emulator or something I guess?

(TG16) Bonk, Bonk's Revenge, Bonk 3, and (SNES) Super Bonk 1 & 2. They're all really fun but I think I enjoyed the 1st two the most~

Personally I think Air Zonk is the only good Bonk related game. It's a fun shooter with some nice colorful graphics and unique enemies. I have played most of the others, and I own Bonks Adventure for TG-16. I find them pretty so-so. Decent platformer, but nothing to get excited about. Very much in the same vain as Adventure Island.

I played PC kid back in the day on the PC engine. I thought it was amazing back then. The graphics were so nice and colorful and the music was great. Bonk 2 was also a good game. Haven't played 3 though.

Defo recommend the series.

I just played through the first game on the PCE and quite enjoyed it. Are the sequels decent? I have played some Air Zonk Rockabilly Paradise and love that game (still need to finish it, though). But are the standard platformers in the series any better/worse than the first game?

I've heard Bonk 2 and 3 are meant to improve on the original in every way. I thought the original was kinda average though, so I haven't risked it just yet to give my own impressions.

Air Zonk is great, I haven'tgot around to rockabilly paradise though. I'dlove to get some of these turbografx games myself, but they're bloody hard to find around here. I shoulda got a PC Engine instead, the games are far more abundant.
