When your game saves are deleted out of freakin' nowhere! I have a game called Joy Mecha Fight (fighting game on the Famicom) and one day after about 20 hours of gameplay logged in this thing died on me. Not only did I lose about 20 unlockable characters but this was a hard game. I'm talking the last 8 fights are like fighting M. Bison in Street Fighter 2, but 8 times. I liked that game a lot too, but after inccidents like this for some reason I can't bother with them again.
Oh well I'll get back to it eventually.
You know what sucks?!
holy cow .
#1, I must try this game you speak of.
#2, never heard of lost saves on a cartridge -- I'm terribly sorry

Correct good sir, a Japan only release. The controls are pretty solid and hit detection is really good. The graphics are AMAZING. The animations are so fluid think Kirby's adventure x2 I swear by it this is how good the graphics are. There are some really good songs in there too. My only gripe is the difficulty. Not saying it's impossible but it took me forever to beat it on hard, then there is a legendary mode!Ack wrote:Cartridge battery died, eh?
Joy Mecha Fight...I'm guessing it never got any kind of release beyond Japan, right? Hey, it's got a Wikipedia article...
...holy CRAP I gotta play this. I'm sorry about your saves man, but where did you find this?!?!
It's sad it's really kind of an obscure game due probably because it came out around 1992 and was only released in Japan. I'd definetly say it's a kick-ass hidden gem. Definetly get the ROM of this game.
OH and to answer your question I found this on eBay.

I feel your pain. I once spent nearly two hours trying to get a certain toy capsule for Shenmue and my game just freeze. Or losing my save on earthbound every time I play. I would say just give it two to three weeks and try playing it again, you be will less frustrated.
I will create a monument to non-existence.
