Games I wanna see ported to... The Wii

Post by REPO Man »

* Panzer Dragoon: aim with the remote and shoot with the B-button. No stylus necessary.

* Starcraft: the Wii DEFINITELY needs some RTS titles.

* Warcraft: either a port of WC3 in its entirety OR an original WC game. But if it's the latter, it should be an RTS. I'd still like to see a WoW sidegame for the Wii (never played WoW cuz my laptop sucks AND they need a credit card), but I want an RTS far more.

* Command and Conquer: C&C3 for the 360 is good, but a new C&C game on the Wii would be good, too (I have a Wii and a 360, BTW).

* Harry Potter games based on SS, Cos, PoA, and GoF: why not? EA went around and released SS games for the next-gen systems after the first batch of SS games.

* some ports of arcade lightgun games (like maybe a collection with Area 51, Area 51 Site 4, and Maximum Force)

* Unreal

* Doom 3

* Pandemonium 1+2. With Wii exclusive features AND NO FREAKIN PASSWORD SYSTEM!!

* Pac-Man World Collection. Sure 2-3 are on the GameCube and by that association the Wii, but a collection would have new features, like a remake of Pac-Man Vs that can use either the GBA via the GBA-to-GC cable OR the DS via wireless.

* Crash Bandicoot Collection. With 1-3, CTR, and Crash Bash.

* Spyro Collection, with the first three games.

* Mole Mania sequel.

* Super Mario Bros-style game. Super Paper Mario was good, but it wasn't a REAL Super Mario game. Mario should not kick anything, wield anything, use anything, whatever. He should run, jump, eat various types of fungi and other powerups, and should not be in 3D. Sorry! But I'd love to see a return to the classic 2D style of the pre-N64 games. I mean, sprites take up less room on the disc than 3D objects, so that's more room for stuff like minigames, old games, and so on.

And I'm working on a concept for a fighting game that has you actually kicking and punching. For the kicking, you put special sensors on the ankles. And for punching, you use the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk, the latter's stick is used for movement.

More scumvm type adventure games (for wii and ds)
Sam and Max and Strong bad are good starts, but I want to see new and classic series revamped.

ChuChu Rocket for Wiiware. The controller would be perfection for it and would actually make the game more fast paced and fun.
Pointer to move cursor, d-pad to place arrows. So much simpler it's crazy.

I think Rez would be cool,
I will create a monument to non-existence.

I would like to see Famicom Tantei Club Part 1 + 2, Shin Onigashima, or any other text based adventure for FDS revived since Americans missed out on them. They all look really cool and I wish I could play at least one of those text based adventures on the FDS, but I would hardly understand them and story is everything in those types of games. Translated ROMs are out of the question because those games are hard as hell to dump, something about the FDS that makes them hard and even then they don't have a really big fanbases that would be willing to translate the games, unlike Mother 3.

For those who don't know about them you can read more about them here:

I think it'd be cool if a new Pokemon Snap game was made. I'd snatch that in a heartbeat.

That's a great idea. The game is intense with four players anyway, but with the motion capabilities it could get down right nasty.

They'd just have to leave in the option for the classic controller and it'd be perfect.

I think "Hey You Pikachu" would be great for the DS. It doesn't matter if the game was any good or not, the microphone and touch screen would be awesome for the game. It's just begging to be ported.

As for the Wii, a new Ristar game from sega. Anyone who's played the original knows exactly why this game should have a sequel on the Wii... also, Capcom's gotta release a new "Strider".
