* Carmen Sandiego series: the touch screen would be PERFECT for navigating menus, etc. Also, make it a souped-up version of the old games. USA, Europe, World, Time, and America's Past.
* Warcraft: dude, tell me this isn't on your DS wishlist
* Risk: the game of global domination.
* Rockboard: this Monopoly-style game was never released in the States. Bastards. But this would be great on the 3DS.
* Fortune Street
* Resident Evil 0-3 - RE1 was remade for the DS, though it never did 2 or 3, but I can understand 0.
* Dino Crisis: it's basically RE with dinos.
* Panzer Dragoon: use the D-pad/ABXY to move the crosshair, the triggers to shoot, and the touch-screen to do aimed attacks
* NiGHTS
* You Don't Know Jack series: put the questions on the top screen and put the buzzer (and the keyboard on SOME questions) on the bottom.
* old-school FPS games like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, et al.

Comix Zone with lots of touch screen interactions with the pages themselves.
Valkyrie Profile. They could have probably expanded on the side scrolling dungeons using the touch screen, instead of just a quick job to the PSP. Take it eons past the simplistic crystal block puzzle solving.
For the love of god, Pikmin please. I don't care how stripped down it is. Give me Pikmin on DS!

Yeah. Let us hope that the current owner of the 007 video game license will buy Goldeneye from Rare. That way we can see it on ALL consoles, not just the 360 as an XBLA game.Chickensuit wrote:also and update of 007Goldeneye would be great with wifi and download play support would be awesome!!!
Quake, however, is something I would LOVE to see on the 3DS. I know the first one for sure, and maybe the second one. But... can it handle Q3: Arena?
Also, The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour, though it'd probably have to be remade to take advantage of the 3D display.

They already got to many of my idea's. Touch screen Advanced Wars nearly cost me everything! Online Tetris with 2 screens is insane.
A true sequel to nights using the old saturn engine would be cool. Seeing they made mario 64 work I imagine the technical part would work. All they need to do is keep the original concept of looping the level for high score. How could they change that in the Wii version? its what made that game special.

-Super Mario All-Stars & Super Mario World. One of the finest compilations ever, this would make big money, even if most of these games were on the GBA at some point.
-I’d love to see some more point and click style adventure games. If the old LucasArts point and click games can’t get emulated so well, maybe someone could around to releasing a few of them legitly on the DS.
-Ports of Snatcher and/or Policenauts. Heck, slap that it’s “Made by the creator of Metal Gear Solid and it’ll probably sell better then the first releases.
-Maybe the Famicom Tentei Club games. The DS is great for these types of games, we need more of them.
-Maybe Nintendo could stop being lame and release a slightly touched up port of Mother 3 to the DS, like the early GBA Phoenix Wright games that got ported to DS. Mother 1 & 2 would be nice too.
-We need a port of the Sega Genesis Collection, maybe add a few games like the Shining Force games (drop a few of the lamer ones like Ecco Jr. if you have to). I know it’s another thing Racketboy suggested, but Racketboy is smart and I agree with him.
-Touch screen enhanced Chu Chu Rocket could be awesome.
-Okay, not necessarily a port, but we need a new Fire Pro game for the DS. Just rip as much from Fire Pro Wrestling Return as you can, tone down the graphics just a tad, add in touch screen for menus and logo drawing, and you’d get a first day buy from me.
-I might be the only one who thinks this, but a slightly toned down version of Blast Works: Build Trade Destroy (Wii) could be awesome.
-I know Neo Geo emulation is coming along well, but a Neo Geo comp. would be cool.
-A port of the old Mega Man Collection, would be fun.
-Umihara Kawase. Great SNES platformer/puzzle game, I know there was a buggy sequel for the PSP. A better port of the original with additional levels from the PS1 game would be fun.
-A touched up Metroid 2 port, as well as a comp of the Wario Land games with touched up graphics would be great. Again, more choices from the Racketboy list, but it’s a really good list.
-Cave Story. Seriously, I like this game so much that even though I have the translated freeware version, I’d buy it if it came out translated on the DS. Heck, if they can pull it off, add some of Pixels’ other games like Ikachan and Guxt as extras. I at least hope that the DS homebrew port comes around.

I wanted to be a Teminator but they require you have an armored hyperalloy skeleton and mine's mostly recycled truck tires.

I'd LOVE to see that. Some time ago I took up an interest in old SCUMM games.Elwood wrote:-I’d love to see some more point and click style adventure games. If the old LucasArts point and click games can’t get emulated so well, maybe someone could around to releasing a few of them legitly on the DS.
Dude, obviously. And release it stateside, Konami. You've got Snatcher and Policenauts fans over here, too.Elwood wrote:-Ports of Snatcher and/or Policenauts. Heck, slap that it’s “Made by the creator of Metal Gear Solid and it’ll probably sell better then the first releases.
Or... the entire series in a single compilation.Elwood wrote:-Maybe Nintendo could stop being lame and release a slightly touched up port of Mother 3 to the DS, like the early GBA Phoenix Wright games that got ported to DS. Mother 1 & 2 would be nice too.
Actually, they've already got SGC for the PSP, which I already have. Instead, they should remake the Shining Force games.Elwood wrote:-We need a port of the Sega Genesis Collection, maybe add a few games like the Shining Force games (drop a few of the lamer ones like Ecco Jr. if you have to). No, it WOULD be awesome.Elwood wrote:-Touch screen enhanced Chu Chu Rocket could be awesome.
Well, it IS a port of a PC game, so it's possible.Elwood wrote:-I might be the only one who thinks this, but a slightly toned down version of Blast Works: Build Trade Destroy (Wii) could be awesome.
IMO, the PSP is better suited for that. But maybe an original Metal Slug game?Elwood wrote:-I know Neo Geo emulation is coming along well, but a Neo Geo comp. would be cool.
Again, better suited for the PSP. But I'd love to see a remake/sequel to Rockboard. I've been playing the translated NES version and I love it.Elwood wrote:-A port of the old Mega Man Collection, would be fun.

Re: Games I want ported to... The DS
"Hey, You Pikachu" would make an excellent DS game, with the microphone and touch screen making gameplay a whole lot easier. I don't care if it wasn't that good, it would still be a great idea for a DS port.
"Super Smash Bros" Do I really need to explain this?
"Shantae" One of the greatest cult classic games on the GBC. With the cancellation of the GBA remake, this game really needs a sequel. I think Matt Bozon is working on a project like this already, but I'm not sure.
