It isn't like these are unknown consoles and computers. They are very famous as well.

I sooooo want the saturn shirt! I remember SX (another site I frequent) once had a design contest for a shirt for their website. Several of the submissions were mock ups of the SMS controller which made me so happy. It was mostly fitting as it was a Sega fan site.
The one that one though had no relic of Sega on it. Though a very cool shirt in deed. I continuousily kick myself for not buying one at the time... but alas I was also very poor at the time.

I wonder if it is like that outside of FL... haven't been in school for a couple years. But even 6 years ago NES shirts were the hot shit at school here in West Palm. The Contra code was spotted most often... I was very upset to find out that one of the people wearing the shirt had NO idea it was from Contra. Let alone from anyother Konami game (as it was recycled many times...)That's exactly what I was thinking. It's so fashionable to love the NES right now, every emo kid at school has NES shirts on.
sad. They even sell NES shirts at JCpenney.
Because Nintendo is the only smart one that licenses their stuff.lordofduct wrote:you know what always upsets me... It is always Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo atari Nintendo Nintendo atari NES NES NES NES NES pacman NES NES NES ataripacman NES NES NES.

It's because Nintendo is the best, plane and simple
as for the EMO kids, yeah.. it's a fad to love nintendo now, but it was a fad to love Atari in the 90's even though they never owned a system. I just buy up the shirts and merchendise while it's out there. I'm in the middle of law school at 22 and I'm right now wearing a t-shirt I wore for football practice in the 9th grade.. so.. the reward for wearing "real" ventage clothing and being a "real" retrogamer is simply in it's self because it's what we really enjoy, and not born out of insecutiy.
