I can't wait to play it. Unfortunately, I won't be able to download it until Sunday. :(

You'll enjoy it. I just now finished completing all the puzzles for the first six worlds. Some of the puzzles are HARD, but it's very satisfying when you solve them.

I've got 57/60 puzzle pieces. I agree. Definitely DO NOT cheat yourself by looking for help with any puzzle. Very satisfying to solve on your own. Just taking some time to step back and stare at the puzzle is all you need. The solution eventually comes.

i picked up the demo.

I'm looking forward to buying and playing through. The demo alone was really fun, and the puzzle aspect was a pleasant surprise. I didn't know that was in the game. I thought it was all time pieces.

let me ask you guys this- don't spoil it for me, but do you get any other powers other than moving time with steps and x? its just that and jumping right?

The reason i ask is they let you play the first world for the demo and the first part of a few worlds after that. In that first world i was BAFFLED at how to get those 2 puzzle pieces just after the giant puzzle table. With the cloud cannons. I assumed you have to get a double jump or something.

Each world has a specific power for you to use, as well as the ability to rewind time with the X button. This is cool because it means that each world will require you to think a different way. One thing I would tell people who are going to play Braid is to learn to think outside the box. Braid is more of a right brain kind of game if you know what I mean. Some puzzle solutions will require you to try some crazy things that your logical left brain will tell you are completely ridiculous

Played it for a little while and really enjoy it. The puzzles are pretty tough and offer a good challenge. I'm going to try my hardest to not look for help and beat it on my own. The time manipulation, the option to continue on the game if one puzzle is too tough, and not dying are all pretty cool features. I say people should at least download the demo and give it a shot.

You get an additional time-related power (in level 5 I believe) that you use with the 'Y' button. To obtain the puzzle pieces you are referring to, you do not require any more "abilites" than you have at that moment, but they are not immediately obtainable when you first reach them...
