PS1 controller giving me issues
PS1 controller giving me issues
So last night, a buddy came over and we had a two and a half hours long fighting marathon, starting with Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, then Soul Calibur 2, then Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore, then Street Fighter Alpha 3(off the Street Fighter Alpha Collection). Fun times, yeah, but after the first round of SC2, I noticed an issue with my controller. While I've never had trouble with the PS2 controller, I only have one, so I was using a PS1 Dual Analog controller, and I noticed that the L1 button was beginning to get stuck. Has anybody else started having issues with the L and R buttons on their PS1 controllers, and if so, how did you fix it? I don't want to lose a round because of a busted controller.

I have never had any luck taking apart a playstation controller, I have a broken ps3 sixaxis setting at home the buttons had gotten sticky to where it was unplayable so i took it apart and couldnt get it back together correctly. If you think its a big deal this is what a ps2's guts look like. http://www.takeitapart.net/archives/ps2-controller/

I had a problem where the R2 button felt "squishy" and got stuck once in a while. It turned out the plast piece that guided the button inside the controller was broken. I couldn't fix it.
