What NES game has the best graphics?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What NES game has the best graphics?

Post by corn619 »

What NES game has the best graphics in your opinion? Mine would be Metal Storm, it boggles my mind how that game does the things it does. For example its one of the only NES games with multiple scrolling backgrounds plus it has awesome boss battles. I guess Mega Man 3 would be a close second "Spark Mans stage is great". Mega Man 2 is my favorite game in the series but I think Mega Man 3 has the best graphics.

The first one that comes to mind for me is Super Mario Bros. 3. It looks great and handles flawlessly.

Just want to make sure you've seen racketboy's article about this:

Kirbys Adventure was possibly the best looking NES game in my opinion. Great color palette, great graphics, overall wonderful game.

I always liked the cut scenes in the Ninja Gaiden series. However, actual gameplay graphics are so-so.

I vote for Kirby's Adventure cause it just looks really good no matter what way you look at it.

My favorite is Nude Barbie which i play all the time on my NES dreamcast emulator. It looks amazing.

other than that i thought the cut scenes on Mike's Punch Out looked great, and also i love the waterfall in the into of Zelda.

as for real in game graphix, i would say Super Mario 3, and i think Rad Racer looks impressive, i wish i had the 3d glasses.

Kirby's Adventure or Metal Gear II. Mario Bros. 3 is also up there.

Batman return of the Joker amazed me when it first came out and the original Batman looked really good back then. Some of the Mega Man games looked really good too.
