Scored an entire carton of JAP PS1/PS2 games at Garage Sale

I was originally interested because the lot included 3 JAP Saturn Games.

However the price for over 50 games AND a Japanese PS2 was too good. (Plus I got a PS2 Memory card with monkeys from Ape escape on it) So I got it.

Here are a few of the games I got:

Persona 1 - 3
Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2
Valkyrie Profile
Wild Arms
Final Fantasy X International
Final Fantasy remakes on the PS2
And a ton more.

Pretty much every collectible RPG and Gundam Game released in JAP. All in really good condition with manuals and inserts. Some of the disks look like they have never been played.

So I know that many of the PS1 titles are worth some money if they are North American releases.

Are the Japanese versions of these games worth anything?

Also I know that FF X International can be played with English subtitles. Does anyone know if any other JAP release RPGS that could be playable in English? (Chances are I own it now or I could buy it now that I have a Japanese PS2)

Sounds like a good find. I don't think alot of the Japanese RPG's have high values, but I'm sure there are exceptions. Because they are in japanese they dont have a big demand in other parts of the world. Still a japanese ps2 is nice. There are tons of puzzle games and shooters you can play without reading japanese.

ohhh....about the subtitles....no clue. sorry

Ok thanks for the info.

I mean Final Fantasy X International is going for about $30.00 so with the PS2 I already scored a hell of a deal. Some of the fighting games I can play as well as some of the action games like Shinobi.

I suppose I will just have to try out some of the RPGS and see if I can play any of them.

If any of you happen to want a Japanese version of a rare PS1 or PS2 game give me a PM and I probably can hook you up for cheap.

Well like I said I scored a Japanese PS2 and a copy of Final Fantasy X International that I can play in English.

I can some of the action games without knowing how to speak Japanese.

I will just have to see if anyone wants to buy some of the other ones.

I mean play Asia is selling a Japanese copy of Persona 3 FES for over $40. It seems logical I can find someone that wants a mint condition copy for cheaper.

Yes it does. and if all else fails ebay is always there. All-in-all it seems like alot of great titles, and a Wonderswan to boot. nice!

You never did tell us how much you paid for all of it.....

I call BS! It's too good to be true. $100? Soccer mom's won't even let there kid's max payne game go for less than $5 and you just somehow found a list as extensive as that for a hundred bones..I guess I don't really care, just my opinion as I'm an avid rummage-saler.
