Holy crap! MS and Square-Enix just dropped the MEGATON!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

That's just because PS3 blows and doesn't have the user base to support the game as well.

Yey! Burn Sony, burn!

Now I'm not so sure if there will be a future PS3 purchase for me. This was the only game selling me on the system besides having access to BluRay movies. If someone comes out with a much cheaper BluRay player, why bother with the PS3 anymore?

Also, MGS4 is no longer safe. If Square-Enix can bring FFXIII to the 360, Konami can do the same for their game. This a major news announcement on Microsoft's part. Things are getting very interesting.

Yeah, Sony is blowing it world wide right now and big publishers are taking notice.

I thought the rest of the presser was just as interesting though. Xbox Mii's, Netflix streaming, and all the new community based gaming is just awesome. The new innovation in gaming and multimedia is being connected to a community of friends if you listen to MS. For the moment I'm buying it.

I agree. MS is really working hard to enhance the Xbox experience. I'm curious to see what Sony and Nintendo unveil tomorrow, but I have a feeling MS has already stole the show. Not to mention, Bungie has yet to make their announcement and they've already stated it'll be a project for MS.

Holy mong batman!

It makes no difference to me as I have a 360 and PS3.

However.

This is BIG news. Sony have ballsed up the PS3 sooo badly. I'm so glad that the big publishers are realising that the PS3 just doesn't have the mainstream clout that 360 and Wii have earnt over the last couple of years. Have that Sony. Yeah, you hade uber mainstream presence for your last 2 consoles. Now Nintendo and Microsoft have learnt your underhand tactics and all the techniques for getting systems in every home. Just to get back at your constant 'feature mining' (ie just mashing loads of features from other consoles and then claiming that it's original. Erm Analogue controller? Dual shock? Sixaxis? Hard-drive internal storage? Analogue triggers? a network adaptor? Hang on.. is there one single feature Sony have invented?). They've stolen your marketing techniques and have done a better job than you. Now you have no machine to fall back on. Just an expensive Blu-ray disc player.

Man, im not a PS3 hater, I have one for Christ's sake. It's just such epic fail. So much promises. So little delivery. Don't even get me started on the Ass-rape of a price it has in this country.

Plus, this will make the 360 skyrocket in sales in Japan. Talk about Microsoft's Ace in the Hole

I have neither an Xbox 360, nor a PS3. I don't buy consoles until I can get them used for <$100. But given the quality of the current generation, I have to wonder if there will be any consoles that still work by the time they hit the 2nd hand market.

Maybe the Xbox 360 will be well emulated by the time I finish FFIII-FFXII.

 to quote the AVGN... "AAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" It may hurt the PS3 but not me as i dont like final fantasy but when you think about it, most every person that likes FF has probably bought a PS3 already and are just playing the waiting game. Great though, you know what this means to PS3 fans like myself, we get a shorter, less attractive game due to YOU XBOTS DVD FORMAT!!!

You of all people have no right to call anyone "Xbots". You can't say you don't care about FF and then make stupid accusations about it being "watered down".
