After nearly a decade I've finished Panzer Dragoon Saga

Post by Scooter »

According to my receipt, I bought the game on 1/8/1999. That was back when the Saturn was still chugging along. Back in the day, I played the game well into the 3rd disc (of 4) and eventually moved on to other things. About a year ago I got into the retro gaming thing and decided to finish it off. Much to my dismay, my old game saves had gotten corrupted on my save cart and I had to start all over. Well, just as well since I couldn't recall all the story details anyway.

Nowadays I have little time to actually play so I've been playing the game off and on probably since the beginning of this year. Well, tonight I actually finished the game. A whole lot more meaningful storyline information happens in the last half of the last disc than in all the rest of the game put together! This is one game that truly lives up to it's hype and can be justified in its current collectibility status.

Now to move on back to Legend of Zelda OoT or Tomb Raider Anniversary or Silent Hill 4, or maybe I'll start something entirely new....

I know what you mean. I got PDS when it came out in the US, I had to move a few times (cities and countries), and it's been in storage since the 2nd disc... I guess I could try to get it out when I'm SoCal this summer but who knows~
