i just won a set of 2 PELICAN Nintendo S-Video/AV Cables it says its for GameCube and Nintendo 64 but wont this also work on snes? well i hope they do anyway, who uses an svid on an snes, does the picture quality look any better?

if there is a purplish area there is probably interference. make sure your cables arent running close to a power supply or anything of that like.Lodestar wrote:It's better than RF and standard AV cables, so yes, the clarity will look noticeably better.
I bought an S-Video cable for my SNES on this site, but for some reason there's a purplish area on the top right corner of the screen, but other than that - it's decent.
