PSP or PS2?
I have a choice. I could buy a PS2 with Espgaluda or Buy a PSP with Final Fantasy Tactics. I can't decide. You can decide for me.
I don't play games, I experience them.

Get a PS2. That console (ignoring it killing the dreamcast) has one of the best libraries anybody could ask for, not to mention 100% backwards compatability with PS1. Plus, its a hell of a lot cheaper than a PSP.
Also, the aforementioned PS2 ports to PSP are usually pretty shocking. Tomb Raider Anniversary in particular, pales in comparison to the original.
And maybe its just me, but i cant play strategy games that demand hours of gameplay on a four inch screen.

A console and a handheld differ by so much you should be able to answer this better than any of us are - how are you going to use it?
If you like to have some gaming on the go (and don't currently have another handheld), yet already have some console, then get the PSP. It is very likely you have a PC, and that can let you emulate *something*, as far as playing in a fixed place goes you probably have enough horsepower to emulate PS1, if not at least SNES or Genesis. So I lean towards the PSP. Unless of course a DS is an option (although by all records, FFT > FFTA, you can get the GBA Tactics Ogre on the DS).
Ivo.

I think you'd an even larger library of games then in the US (assuming you live in Japan where you can visit used game stores).Keep in mind that I would be purchasing a Japanese PS2, not the U.S. model.
PSP on the other hand is region free for games.
