Saturn ponderings

Okay.
I've wanted a Saturn awhile now, but there has been no possibilities for it until now.
What I found was a Saturn with box and 12 random games for about $200 (conversion to USD was made.) The description also says it to be a "re-built Saturn that can play all regions." My first question is what might this mean? A mod-chip or some other kind of modification I am not aware of the Saturn could have? If it is a chip or not, would this also include the possibility to play burned games or will the "swap trick" be necessary for the burned ones?
The games aren't important as I plan to hunt for some specific ones, but I want to ask one more thing about the model.
Can you specify which model of Saturn is this?

uh I would say not so much of a bargain but im not big on imports so I dont know, all I know is you should be able to get a system w/ everything but games for about 20 dollars.

That looks like a model 1 Sanyo saturn to me from the rather fuzzy picture which is harder to find than the normal black ones. Here in the UK I would expect to pay about £50 just for the system in a box and the value of saturn games differs wildly so it depend what they are but even the common games will cost you £3-5 each so I reckon you got a reasonable buy, expecially if its been modded already.

Being modded to play games from any region does not mean that the console will play burns, this is a seperate mod. If its been region modded there will be some switches added to it that you will need to flick when you want to play some imports. If you got it from ebay thougth it may still be able to play burns - ebay remove listings of consoles that are chipped if they spot them
