Hello,
i bought a mega cd one on ebay, that was tried and tested, basicly the seller said it worked. when i plug my mega drive into it, i get nothing, no lights on the front, nothing. i have tried a differnet mega drive so the problem isnt that.
i dont have that big metal grounding plate, would that make a difference?
any ideas would be greatfully appriacated.
Thanks in advance.

I think you need a second power supply for the Sega CD as well as the Mega Drive. I know it's a cliche response but "have you tried plugging it in yet". That's as far as my knowlage on Sega CDs goes but I hope it helps

Well that was wayyyy more complex than I was looking at! Haha!
Well done glad you got it working, I've been looking into buying one recently, just for Sonic CD, but it's just easier to emulate!

Its cool,
i got one because when they first came out my mum and dad couldnt afford one, now i pay the bills i can decide what to spend my money on, brings back the good old days.
Emulation is ok, but i dont recon you can beat the actual console in front of you, even though the megadrive pad cable id really short and you have to sit right in front of the screen
