TOP 10 Games of all time!

Since there was a must play post, I was thinking we should narrow it down a bit with a top 10 of all time on any system.

Here's mine:

1. Castlevania SOTN - PS1
2. Shining Force - Genesis
3. MUSHA - Genesis
4. Okami - PS2
5. Super Metroid - SNES
6. Dragon Force - Saturn
7. Valkyrie Profile - PS1
8. Final Fantasy III - SNES
9. Lightening Force- Genesis
10. DoDonpachi - Saturn

It's tough, but if i could only have 10 games these would be it.

2. Persona 3- PS2
3. Phoenix Wright series- DS
4. Skies of Arcadia- Dreamcast
5. Imperishable Night- PC (the game that got me hooked on shmups)
6. Daytona USA- Saturn
7. Karous- Dreamcast
8. Under Defeat- Dreamcast
9. Need for Speed Most Wanted- PC
10. Metroid Prime 3- Wii

So hard to pick, these games are like my children, but if I am making a list, these are the games I could play over and over again until the end of time.

1. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! - NES
2. Shenmue 1/2 - DC
3. Super Metroid - SNES
4. Resident Evil 2 - PS1
5. Super Mario Bros. - NES
6. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - DC
7. Full Throttle - PC
8. Prince of Persia - PC
9. Comix Zone - GEN/MD
10. Bioshock - X360

This is extremely difficult. So difficult, in fact, that I'm only going to list my top 2 and work from there.

1 Guardian Heroes - Saturn
2 Ultima Online - PC

Oh, and yes, General Chaos WILL be somewhere on the list. I'm just not sure where yet.

1 Through 10 : Zelda Series

I could honestly play any of those games for days, except the CDI games, they hurt me...

Ten? Are you kidding me? There is simply no way to narrow down years of kick ass games to a list of just ten. Maybe top fifty would be better, or twenty-five at least. I just can't think of ten games that are better than everything else I have ever played. It's too small a list, and I'd be leaving out lots of games that I would have to kick myself for

Well thats the point. I know there are so many great games out there. it's just a personal list of your favorite 10 games. Could be based on best replay value, most innovative, or maybe the game you compare others of it's genre too. It's not like your games will be mad at you if you don't include them on the list....

EDIT: I do like your enthusiasm about games!

7. a link to the past (snes)
6. god of war (ps2)
5. goldeneye 007 (n64)
4. sonic the hedgehog 2 (genesis)
3. resident evil 4 (gc)
2. tetris (gameboy / nes)
1. super mario bros 3 (nes)

yeah, i like platformers a lot. also, i've never played a dreamcast or saturn. and i'm not crazy about RPGs.
