replacing led's help

Post by jackspicer »

I want to put one of those rainbow leds in my snes, Does anyone know the voltages for the SNES LED for replacing? Does the mcd rating matter? is all i need to do is unsolder the old one and solder in the new one? could this harm my snes? Thanks.

Use a multimeter and figure it out! Usually most precision electronics run about 1.5v DC.
Consoles Owned: Nintendo SNES, Nintendo GameBoy Color, Nintendo GBA, Sony PSX, PS2, PS3, Sega Master, Microsoft XBox
