I don't know where to find the hardware or the .isos, but I'm familiar with it (never had one).

I remember there being a good / decent version of Sim City (not 2000) on it, but other than such ocasional "upgraded ports", there is little else that is better than the regular A500 games. Of course there's bound to be a bunch of outdated encyclopedias if you are into that ;)

Xenon 2 is a great game, and indeed it had quite nice music.

You may or may not prefer to find an Amiga CD32 - they run most* (not all, if I recall correctly) CDTV games, and optionally get the floppy drive and other accessories to turn it into a pseudo A1200.

* I think it is "most", but perhaps there is a large list of incompatibilities - I have a CD32, but no CDTV CDs at all so I never looked into it.

while searching for iso´s i found out about the Amiga CD32 and unlike the cdtv there are a lot of games available and alot easyer to find. So i´ll problaby buy one if i get the chance.

Also i mainly got the cdtv since it´s just an amiga with a cd drive so if i find some accesories like mouse, keyboard and a floppy drive i´ll finally have an amiga :) If not then at least i got a very unique cd player in fact i´ve never seen a cd drive like that i have to eject a tray of sorts and the put the cd in it and then put it in the cdtv at first i thougt it was broken :D

Just be careful as I'm not sure what the hardware compatibilities are.
I'm fairly sure that at least for the CD32, you need a specific type of keyboard - the old, fatter ones you see here compared with the typical PS/2:

Maybe there are adapters though, I know I have one adapter that transforms the fatter into the thinner ones.

If you get a CD32 and want to convert it to a computer, you won't just need parts, but also an "expander" - from the wikipedia article
Expansion Slot: 182-pin expansion socket for official MPEG cartridge or third party devices such as the SX-1 and SX32 expansion packs
I think I have an SX-1 at home...

Im beginning to see why the cdtv failed altho the remote controller is an intresting idea..i´ve encountered a very annoying problem while playing games the controller seems to lock up after three inputs it did that just after i got it but i changed the batteries no problem then but it´s started doing it again. It does that also on the bios screen three inputs slight delay then it starts accepting inputs again im thinking bad remote or maybe interference from other remote controlled devices like the tv and my stereo amplifier any thoughts ?

edit
i managed to fix this by taping down one of the buttons on the numeric pad i dont know why this works but it does.

Defender of the Crown 2 is a great game, and works both on CD32 and CDTV.
