Correct me if I'm wrong but i think the best output you can get for a gamecube is s-vid or composite video. Even if it will hook up it wont output anything through the HDMI cable.

Most Gamecubes also support Component. It uses a different port than the others.
Later models of the Cube had that port removed.

Then later models don't suport component?

Nope they dont -- Nintendo was trying to cut costs at the end.
Most people never used it as the Component cables were only available (for $50?) on Nintendo's site and no third-party ones were made.

Well that explains why I can't find any for my GC. Thanks Nintendo you cockbites.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I still think their handling of the digital port was one of the biggest fuckups in Nintendo's history. They severely limited the supply, both in terms of quantity and purchase methods, they wouldn't let third parties make their own, and then they bitched about how few people were using the component cables, so they axed the port. Who's to blame for this, I wonder.
