A while ago GameInformer stated that it was only comin to PS3, 360, and PC.

oh yeah a light gun game for pc where the arcade expirience becomes a point and click expirience yay

whereas the wii actually has a light gun !!

actually it doesn, its just a point and clik experience with a remote lol. The Wii-mote uses a IR sensor to indicate where the 'mote is pointing.
light gun technology is where the screen goes black for a fraction of a second then the targets turn white. This is impossible to use on an LCD, Plasma, or any other TV where the scan is progressive if i remember correct.

Whether or not it is technically a light gun, it is still a better choice for a light gun game than a mouse.

You are correct though, traditionally light guns wont work on HD or progressive scan screens

It looks like Lindburgh to me. (Same as HotD4)
