I just bought a pre-owned game but got a sealed copy.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I just bought a pre-owned game but got a sealed copy.

I was having a look around some games stores today and I found a copy Odama for the gamecube in the preowned section and it looked interesting so bought it even though the box was a bit bashed and it had a nasty sticker on it.

I didnt notice until I got untill I was on the bus on the way home that they had given me a brand new sealed copy of the game.

This ever happened to anyone else?

It was Gamestation (its a UK store that used to do retro games)

Maybe they trying to make up for the time I tryed to buy somthing that was in the shop window only to be told it didnt work and it was just for display. Which makes me wonder why they bothered to put a price sticker on it.

Good to see someone is getting something good from Gamestation. Had been looking for PSO on the GC for a while but it was too expensive on Ebay. Found it in Gamestation for a reasonable price only to find they didn't actually have the disk. Gits.
God damn I hate the internet.

Gah I hate that. Happened to me so many times.

I think GS are trying to get rid of surplus stock of Gamecube titles. They can't sell them as brand new because they don't have a Gamecube section anymore. So they just lump them in with the rest of the pre-owned GC titles. I got Battalion Wars and Mario Golf on the 2 for £20 pre-owned offer a couple of days ago. They were brand new. Even had the inserts and Star points card. Perfect condition. Was well chuffed.

I got Odama ages ago in the same condition you mentioned.

I bought a used copy of Resistance FoM and GameStop and got it free. Main reason, if its not in their computer system, they cant sell it so they give it to you for free. YAY
