Racketboy Meetup In Michgan? Where? When?

Post by racketboy »

I'm still interested in doing a Chicago Meeteup, but since I'm right in the middle of Michigan, I thought it might be fun to do one somewhere around here as well. At this point, I'm very flexible.

What cities would work out best? Does anybody know of any locations that would be good? Conferences? Game stores? Anything?
I'm also pretty flexible on dates, but weekends would obviously be best.

Lets hear some ideas!

I have a general idea of that, but getting to the specifics of cities could get quite messy.

How about in 3-4 weeks? That's prolly pretty short notice but I'll be in MI then visiting the fam (Livingston County, near Ann Arbor.) :)

That's possible I guess -- we'll see how things work out for everyone else....

Racket, use one of those mapping services, where you put a pin on a map where you live. That way we could all view the map and see how we're distributed. We don't have to know exact cities, we can just eyeball it.

I'm in lansing and can always supply a couple of quality arcade sticks. sadly my place is tiny :(

edit; game hits in lansing stocks everyting from atari to turbografix to wii... all used stuff. its a local shop and their rent is high but sometimes you do find some gems for a good price. last time i was there they had some saturn fighters like x-men COTA for what i would consider really good prices.

Never been there -- I'll have to check it out!
Do you happen to know anybody that works there?

every other weekend I'm in Grand Rapids. I could maybe make it over to Lansing, BattleCreek (lol), Kzoo, possibly Lansing, ann arbor, yipsy..etc

The further East, the more unlikely though, as I have to get back to chicago.
