Hd retro

Post by RCBH928 »

Ok I know the title is stupid
and I hope i posted in the right forum

I just want to know if I will suffer buying an HD TV and play N64 on it.
I never had n64 so i got it from friend and enjoying games I missed on like 007 and banjoo kazooie.

But i also have 360 and wii, and i thought I should get the HD in 360 out and get new LCD samsung. Then I thought that the experience of playing n64 will get ruined since i heard it gets pixelated?

I currently own a good old CRT but I cant have two TVs in my room, specially that i am the farthest thing from a hardcore gamer. Not believe me? Last system I bought was ps1 before the 360, and I stopped playing that like in 1998.

N64 and older consoles don't look particularly good on HDTV's, That is true. But I wouldn't let that stop me from updating to a new TV.

It's still playable ,but it is noticable.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I have a Samsung 37" LCD tv and its not that bad. Still playable. The quality lost on older consoles is easily made up for by the better quality of newer ones.

Plus LCDs are thinner which means you can fit more retro consoles around it!
God damn I hate the internet.

Here is the "big notice" i h ave an n64 on a samsung...only thing to me you notice...its a little blury, not drunk blury but "foggy" You really only notice it if your LOOKING for something to be wrong, if that makes sense.

Buy a new tv and love it!

Get the new TV. Keep your old one for retro goodness. Simple.

you can alway compromise and get one of those hdtv crt. They are older and very heavy but have best picture by far.

I have my N64 on an HD display and it actually looks quite good! Especially if you have the ram pack!

Get a Samsung Slimfit like me.
It's not a huge screen, but it's nice and cheap.
