Your fav japan import

Ok, a friend of mine is gonna throw me capcom vs snk 2, susposibly the greatest capcom vs game ever. The idea had crossed my mind to pick up headhunter...or just start collecting all fo the japan/pal fighting games *sense they normally run arboud 20-60 worse case and not 100-300 like shooters*

What are your fav dreamcast games that never made it to the states?

I'm partial to shumps so I'd have to say it's a 3 way tie between:
Radiant Silvergun, DoDonpachi (the menus are in even english) and Trigger Heart Exelica

Also, I wish they had translanted Shining Force III parts 2 and 3, and Dragon Force 2.

see, thats something else...it would suck if the game has a GREAT story line...and NOTHING is in english for me to enjoy

Thats why fighting games are...just kick ass. I saw you note silvergun....that wouldnt be anything like the 250$ silvergun on saturn would it? I love imports but i cant afford 150$ for one game...that is so hard i cant come close to beating

thats why i haven't picked it up yet, i'm just not willing to pay that much. I almost got a buy it now for 130 but while i was thinking someone else bought it. But there are some great midrange shmups like DonPachi, DoDonpachi, Kingdom Gandprix, and Soukyugurentai that totally rock but have a 40-60 dollar price range as well.

i edited my first post, im actually talking about the dreamcast import scene.

After i mod my dreamcast im gonna get a saturn to mess with. Ill def save your list for the saturn though...silvergun is awesome so i trust your taste

Well if it's just Dreamcast I'd definately say Trigger Heart Exelica. It could have easily caught on here, it's way more accesible than Mars Matrix or Giga Wing (which i love both of...but THE just rocks!!)

just watched a small video on you tube Trigger Heart Exelica....looks AWESOME...a shooter with depth? ive never seen a shooter where you could grab a ship and swing it in a circle to take out ships...that...is awesome. Any other dreamcast greats you wanna throw my way? Just remember i dont wanna go 150$ on ONE game lol.

Just in case you didn't know already, you can get Trigger Heart Exelica on XBLA for ~10 bucks. But, problem is you need a 360. Then again, you can also get Ikaruga (another DC import shooter, similar to Radiant Silvergun) for 10 dollars as well. Don't get me wrong, I have the original games, but 10 dollars is tough to beat.

Otherwise, you like fighting games, so I'm willing to bet you will love Guilty Gear X. It never appeared on the DC in the States. If you don't have it...get it!
