Racketboy Meetup In Chicago Around September 10th?

Post by racketboy »

I'm currently looking at visiting Chicago around September 10th. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I wanted to see how many people would definitely make plans to meet up if I was able to make it.

The actual location is not known yet as I don't know of any good places, but if anybody has ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Assuming I drive instead of take the train, I could bring a few smaller TVs to accompany some consoles.

And ideas are welcome and if you are seriously interested in this, please let me know in this thread.
If there isn't enough interest, I probably won't bother.

That wouldn't be too far for me except... My classes will be in session then. So I wouldn't be able to make it.

If you could hold it in mid-october in Missouri or Colorado (preferably CO) that would be really nice, we have a couple arcades in which you can rent out the entire arcade, they have TV's just about everywhere too to hook consoles up to.

After Chicago, will you consider something a little more south? I am in Texas, but I am willing to drive N,E, or W across one state. Hell, Texas is already like two states by itself already.

I'll consider a lot of things :) I just can't do TOO much traveling in a given year due to finances and only so much vacation time from my day job :)

I'll be at school as well 4 hours south, but that sure won't stop me.
