SEGA trademarks Cosmic Smash?!

Surprisingly, Sega just trademarked Cosmic Smash in North America. The original game was released back in 2001. Why would Sega trademark Cosmic Smash? Could they be working a new Cosmic Smash game? Perhaps, for the Wii, which seems like the obvious home for such a title?

I was thinking more XBLA, but any Cosmic Smash would do!

A wiiware version would be cool but I think it would be better on XBLA since you would probably be able to use your own music and ave better highscore boards

Do many 360 games let you use your own music? I know that was taunted as something for the original, but I only had one game that ever used it.
