It sits on the far side of a big living room, and I use it to watch movies as well. That and yes, I like my video and audio big and loud!

My neighbors hate me when I play Rez because my sub shakes their walls. And we live in separate houses!

I got a 26" one that I use primarily and a 40" I use when my parents are out of town.

I have a 57" 1080i widescreen Mitsubishi rear-projection television. Yes, I have to put "widescreen" there, because many HDTVs released in 2000 were 4:3. On other forums, some like to argue with me about that fact.

27" old school flat screen with s-vid and composites in the Living Room.
19" LCD in the bedroom for my ps2 with composite cables.

I think picture quality is a bit more important than the actual size of the screen. Or at least that's what the lady's tell me. jk
