Tribes/Tribes 2

Post by AwesomeMonstar »

Just fell back in love with Tribes 2 and wanted to see if anyone here is a fan as well. The whole Z-axis shooter concept brings nothing but pure skill to the table, something that if you practice enough you find some definite results. Anybody who still plays either one please chime in, because the tribes 2 servers are quite lonely these days, with only one really populated server and vivendi putting an ax on the browser...

Also, I'd post this somewhere else but it appears there is no real PC subforum, sorry bout this if it's a problem.

I played Tribes 1 for some time but never even tried the second. I always enjoyed it a lot though. Are there fan servers of any kind?

Tribes 1 is still running strong, tribes 2, however, has one fan run server that actually runs strong. Games are still fun though.

Never played the first one, but the second is easily one of the best FPS's ever created. Granted I enjoyed the UT like Vengeance the most - Rabbit with Grappling hooks...

2 is great, you still play? Vengeance just didn't get the feeling of the other two for me.

I loved Tribes2 and played it non stop for a year or so, some of the later patches annoyed me though, still there is nothing quite like flying a biog gunshop full of heavies in that snow level and dropping into the castle :)

I've always kinda wondered how good this game was, dos it still have a strong online community? I'd be willing to give it a try f there were some servers still running.
