Retro Gaming font?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Retro Gaming font?

Post by BlueMetroid »

Its been driving me nuts, I've fallen in love with the font you used for the "retro" text in the "retro Gaming" little logo banner, none of my colleagues have any idea what it is, and I can't seem to find anything that looks remotely similar to it. I know the "gaming" text is Century Gothic, but what is the "retro" text font?

Wow -- you nailed the Century Gothic.
The Retro is "Bad Films"
I found one place through Google that is offering it:
http://www.eknp.com/fonts/b1.php

The font doesn't look quite as cool typically as it does with the word "retro" :)

Ah! Thank you so much! I'm typically the guy who points out fonts on movie credits, cd covers, and logos, it just drives me crazy when I see a font that I like but don't know. I had the retro logo on my hard drive, and posted it at a bunch of forums a few months ago, because I had no idea what site I found it on. Then Stumble Upon took me to racketboy.com -- And I saw the retro logo staring right at me. Anyway, thanks a lot. I also own a bunch of coin-op arcade machines and pinball machines, so I think I'll stick around the site :)

Sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Anyway, I hope to see you more in the forums.
Now that I'm moved into my new house, I'll have a bit more time to keep this place lively :)
