I have a ps2 with no games.

Post by cloudrat7 »

I just added another console to my collection, a ps2, yay!

The thing is i never actually had a chance to play the system before so i have absolutely no idea what games are even remotely good for it (i'm a retro old school gamer, i'm still stuck playing all my other consoles). What are your recommendations?

PS2 is a great system, and you shouldn't have any trouble finding something you like. Out of all the games I own, I would recommend these the most...

Dragon Quest VIII
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy XII
God of War
God of War 2
Gradius V
Ico
I-Ninja
Jak & Daxter
Katamari Damacy
Kingdom Hearts
Metal Slug Collection
Okami
Ratchet & Clank 1 - 3
Red Faction 2
R-Type Final
Sega Genesis Collection
Shadow of the Colossus
Sly Cooper 1 & 2
Suikoden III

Zone of the Enders 2 is possibly my favorite game next to Star Control 2. You don't need to have played the first ZOE, either. So get that.

I was just listing games from my personal collection that I would recommend as a must. I've actually been meaning to get around to playing Deadlocked, just haven't picked it up yet.

Oh, well when you do pick it up, don't expect anything better or worse. Just expect something different. That's what I did and Deadlocked was a pretty good experience for me. :)
