help for SSF?

I need help. I have the newest version os SSF, I have a .bin file of Dragon Force, and I have 2 versions
of saturn bios, but I still cant get the emulator to run the .bin file. Ive tried the settings in all combinations I can think of, and my best result so far is the sega saturn licence shows after clicking on start application in SSF, but thats as far as its ever gotten. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as Ive been dying to play this game since my wife pawned it a few yrs ago.

Is it listed on the compatibity list?
Maybe it just won't run
