Sega Saturn Import Fighters

Post by gokuofheaven »

Does anyone know which Import Fighters work on the US Sega Saturn using the Action Replay? All of them? Most of them? And which give you problems? (so i don't bother purchasing them.

Most important one would be Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen any problems with all my fighting games. Marvel vs Street Fighters definitely work.

Oh great!

I heard Xmen vs Street Fighter has problems. It skips, looses sound, or doesn't load. This is using the Action Replay.

I don't know if there are more than one action replay, but the one I used is action replay with the 4m to 1m cart. From my experience, I didn't see any of those problems but maybe you can check with other people.

I actually ordered the Action Replay 4in1 Plus (1mb-4mb) but haven't tried it yet. So you're saying all of your fighting games work fine? And you're playing on a Domestic Saturn or an Import Saturn?

Basically I don't want to spend $60 on imports from ebay if certain ones don't work.

I think Vampire Savior is the only one that gave real issues.
There is a hardware mod you have to do to get it working with the AR Plus.

Yeah this one i know, just not all the other imports.

I don't want to have to patch, burn, do swap trick. I rather just buy the imports, i like to have a nice collection. Proud Sega Supporter.

I am using a Domestic Saturn. Unfortunately, I don't have the Vampire Games people talked about so I couldn't confirm with you if there is a problem or not. I didn't buy it because I got the whole series on an import PS2 collection.

I have an AR 4-in-1 which didn't need modification to play VS, and I have no problems using it to play imported games. No problems at all.
